WARDSBORO- On Saturday, October 5, at 1 pm, Bonnyvale Environmental Education Center naturalist Patti Smith will share stories, pictures, and videos of some of her favorite wildlife wards.
Follow Burdock the porcupine back into nature and meet his porcupine friends; find out how opossum mothers summon their children; see how Max the mink learned to swim and more.
Smith will also talk about what is involved in becoming a licensed wildlife rehabilitator in Vermont. This program is available thanks to a grant from the Deerfield Valley Rotary Club.
All are welcome at the Wardsboro Public Library, 170 Main Street. Call (802) 896-6988 for more information.
