Local company earns global recognition
WILMINGTON- LineSync Architecture has recently undergone a rigorous assessment to earn B Corporation certification for the second year. B Corps form a global community of leaders that use business as a force for good: 2,500 B Corps now exist, spread over 50 countries. B Corps are businesses that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability to balance profit and purpose. The B Corp community works toward reduced inequality, lower levels of poverty, a healthier environment, stronger communities, and the creation of more high quality jobs with dignity and purpose. By harnessing the power of business, B Corps use profits and growth as a means to a greater end: positive impact for their employees, communities, and the environment.
LEED accredited architect Joseph Cincotta and his wife and business partner Julie Lineberger established LineSync Architecture as a green and sustainable enterprise from its inception in1988, but the firm’s focus and commitment has been honed by the process of qualifying as a B Corp.
LineSync Architecture is the only certified B Corporation architectural firm in Vermont and one of only 16 in the United States.
