Local churches take part in national prayer day

DEERFIELD VALLEY- Four local churches will participate in the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 3. Services will be at Whitingham Church from 8 to 9 am with refreshments following; Readsboro Baptist Church from 11 am to 12 pm with a light lunch following; Jacksonville Community Church from 2 to 3 pm with iced tea and snacks; and Wilmington Baptist Church from 7 to 8 pm with music by John and Liz Wheeler.
