Join in Green Up Day in Wilmington
WILMINGTON- Green Up Day is May 1. It is a statewide event coordinated by individual towns. Volunteers of all ages are encouraged to help clean up in their towns by picking up litter.
All interested volunteers in Wilmington should come to Buzzy Towne Park on South Main Street any time between 9 and 11 am on Saturday, May 1, for route assignments and special Green Up bags. Snacks and water will be available. COVID precautions will be in place. Please wear masks, gloves, pants, long-sleeved shirts, and sturdy shoes.
