Hard work deserves parade

DOVER- On Wednesday, May 20, the staff at the Dover School will be holding a parade in honor of the hard work and commitment demonstrated by Dover families during this period of distance learning and COVID-19.
Staff members will be traveling by car, following the usual afternoon bus route, leaving the Dover School at approximately 1:55 pm.
The first stop will be at the Dover Free Library, and the parade will continue on to Goose City, then back up over Dover Hill to Route 100 near the Town Offices.  The group will then proceed north on Route 100, turning around at the Blue Brook Road stop. At this point the parade will return to Dover School via Butterfield Commons and Valley View Road.
Families are encouraged to find a spot along the route with less than 10 people and show support.  The parade will be headed up by the Dover Police Department and may even include a band.
Rain date is Wednesday, May 27, at 2 pm. For more information contact Matt Martyn at (802) 464-5386 or mmartyn@doverschool.net.
