Free Halloween pizza party
JACKSONVILLE- On Wednesday, October 31, from 5 to 7 pm, parents and children of all ages are invited to gather at the Whitingham Municipal Center, 2948 Route 100, for a free Halloween pizza party.
The Whitingham Free Public Library and the Whitingham-Halifax Lions Club have joined forces and resources to provide the best ever community Halloween party. Guests will enjoy pizza, apple cider, healthy snacks, non-candy and candy treats, games, activities, music, and surprises. Teens are also invited to come back after trick-or-treating for more pizza and a movie.

Merchants are ready for the ghosts and goblins
WILMINGTON- Downtown merchants and the Pettee Memorial Library invite ghosts, goblins, and ghouls of all ages to show off their costumes during the annual trick-or-treating in the village from 4 to 6 pm on Wednesday, October 31.
The 1836 Country Store has set aside $1,000 for local kids and will give one dollar bill to every child that comes in a Halloween costume from 3 pm until the money is gone.
