Grief support group starts up via Zoom

BRATTLEBORO- A new grief support group for adults who have experienced any kind of death loss is being offered by Brattleboro Area Hospice. The group started via Zoom on May 6, the group will continue every Wednesday from 5 to 6 pm. The group size is limited to eight people and registration is required. The group is open to anyone who has had any type of death loss, either recently or in the past. This is an opportunity to connect with others who have lost a loved one, a time for listening and sharing, and to access grief support in these times of isolation.
The group is sponsored by Brattleboro Area Hospice. Participation is free of charge and open to anyone in the community grieving the death loss of a loved one, no matter when or where the loss occurred.  Bereavement Support Groups offer a safe, mutually supportive environment for sharing experiences through discussion, readings, and suggestions for moving through grief.  No prior connection with hospice is necessary in order to participate.
The group will be facilitated by Lars Hunter, Bereavement Program Coordinator. Interested individuals should contact Lars at (802) 257-0775, ext. 104, or lars.hunter@brattleborohospice.org for more information and to register.
