Contestants and spectators prepare for the annual pie eating contest at a previous Blueberry Block Party.
WILMINGTON- Wilmington Works hosts the annual blueberry block party on South Main Street on Saturday, August 4, from 5 to 8 pm. The grand finale to the Deerfield Valley Blueberry Festival, the block party will feature live music, crafts, food, and fun for all.
Partygoers are invited to dance to the sounds of the Miles Band, who will be rocking the block party from a flatbed truck, and are encouraged to arrive early to register for the annual pie eating contest, which begins at 6 pm.
