Fundraiser to support church and community
The Loose Knit Group of the West Dover Congregational Church will hold a fundraiser to support the area.
DOVER- Come on down to the Dover Town Hall on Saturday, November 3, from 6 to 8 pm for supper. The Loose Knit Group of the West Dover Congregational Church will hold a fundraiser to support the community and the church. For the very first time a Souper Supper will be held at which ticket holders for $20 will choose a ceramic bowl (they get to keep) which will be filled with artisian soup served with cheese, bread, dessert, and a beverage.
Members have been collecting bowls from local potters and arranging for soup from local restaurants for this unique event. Each ticket purchased will also receive a raffle ticket for a beautiful hand-knit afghan by a local knitting artist. Four tickets can be purchased for $70.
