Evening of food and stories at potluck dinner

NEWFANE- The public is invited to an evening of great food and great stories at the Historical Society of Windham County’s  potluck dinner on Friday, August 25, at the NewBrook Fire Station on Route 30.  
Dinner will start at 6 pm, following a brief annual meeting that begins at 5:30. Participants are encouraged to bring a dish to share. Beverages will be provided.
Beginning at 7 pm, local stories will be shared by Bill Toomey, of Grafton (back by popular demand asToomey’s stories have enraptured audiences at this event for the past two years); Sheriff Keith Clark, whose stories at South Newfane’s “Moth Radio Hour” brought the county sheriff new acclaim; and Roger Albee, whose family came to settle in Newfane and Brookline five generations ago.
