Dr. Pendleton discussing new book
WILMINGTON- Saint Mary’s in the Mountains Episcopal Church will host memoirist Dr. Veda Pendleton in a discussion of her book “Prepped: Coming of Age in Black and White America: A Memoir.” This is her fifth book and her first memoir. Set in the 1970s, Dr. Pendleton shares her story of her life in the deep South and her subsequent journey to an elite all-girls school in Simsbury, CT.
