Democrats plan caucuses

WINDHAM COUNTY- During September, Democrats will be caucusing in each town to reorganize their town committees. Vermont requires that political parties caucus between September 10 and September 30 for the purpose of reorganizing their town committees and selecting the committee officers who will serve for the next two years.
The notice providing the details for each caucus will be posted at the town offices and publicized around each town. Voters can also visit the Windham County Democrats Facebook page (@windhamdemocrats), where a list of county caucus sites is maintained and regularly updated. To participate in a town’s caucus, an individual must be a registered voter in that town. Voters cannot participate in the reorganization caucus of more than one political party.
Reorganization of the town committees in September will be followed by a county caucus on October 22 to reorganize the county committee, and a state caucus on November 16 to reorganize the state committee. Anyone who would like more information about the reorganization process should contact John Hagen at
