Composting 101

JACKSONVILLE- On Monday, June 17, at 7 pm, the Whitingham Library will host Composting 101. The event is in preparation for the 2020 ban of foods scraps from landfills entirely. There will be a panel of special guests, including Almira Aekus and Karen Pratt, who will discuss what type of composting they use, the process and the benefits, including onsite composting, vermi-composting, and in-vessel composting.
