Church holds annual sugar-on-snow supper
Sugar-on-snow is a traditional dessert in Vermont.
BRATTLEBORO - The First Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, is holding its 72nd annual Sugar-On-Snow Supper at 880 Western Avenue in West Brattleboro Saturday, March 8, with 5 and 6:15 pm seating times.
This unique regional tradition has held fast through the many changes during the past seven decades, uniting the community in celebration and service and sharing Vermont history with younger generations. The supper benefits the anti-poverty work of the church in West Brattleboro, which was cited by the 2020 census as the poorest area per capita in the state.
