Patty Smith

WARDSBORO- Patty Smith, author, naturalist, and wildlife rehabilitator, will share her adventures on Saturday, October 20, at 1pm, at the Wardsboro Public Library, 170 Main Street.
From moose to mice, the woods and fields are populated with a curious and wonderful assortment of wildlife. Smith has spent her life getting to know some of these animals in unusual ways. She has spent hours in the company of wild beavers and porcupines, befriended a lonely moose, and had possums nest in her hair.
During this presentation Smith will share photos, videos, and stories of some of the surprising things she has learned about her wild neighbors. Guests are encouraged to bring wildlife stories to share.
This event is free and open to the public. All ages welcome.
