“Give Back Where It Counts” benefits the historical society
WILMINGTON- The Historical Society of Wilmington has been selected as a beneficiary of Shaw’s “Give Back Where It Counts” program for the month of June.
The program, launched in April, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work.
The Historical Society of Wilmington was selected as the June beneficiary of the program by store leadership at the local Shaw’s. The society will receive a $1 donation every time a $2.50 reusable Give Back Where It Counts bag is purchased at the local store during June.
The funds raised through the program will go toward the museum building fund.
The Historical Society of Wilmington is a nonprofit with dedicated volunteers working to preserve Wilmington history for others to enjoy. To learn more visit http://www.wilmingtonhistoricalsociety.com.For more information on the Shaw’s program visit shaws.bags4mycause.com.
