TOWN OF WHITINGHAM

Dated March 6, 2024

The legal voters of the Town of Whitingham, Vermont, are hereby notified and warned to meet at the Whitingham Municipal Center in Jacksonville, Vermont, in the Town of Whitingham, Vermont on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 6:30pm, Eastern Time to act on the following articles:

ARTICLE 1:  Pursuant to the petition filed in accordance with Title 24, Section 1973, shall the voters disapprove the ordinance entitled “Town of Whitingham Dog Ordinance” enacted and passed by the Whitingham Selectboard on January 24, 2024?

ARTICLE 2:  Pursuant to 24 V.S.A. section 1530, shall the voters authorize the Selectboard to pay the Collector of Delinquent Taxes a salary in lieu of penalties to become effective March 5, 2025?

ARTICLE 3:  Pursuant to 32 V.S.A. section 1224, shall the voters authorize the Selectboard to pay the Town Clerk a salary in lieu of salary and fees to become effective March 5, 2025?
