Words matter: Stigma discussed at opioid meeting

WILMINGTON - Attendees of Tuesday’s meeting of the Opioid Task Force engaged in several discussions and an exercise about stigma.
Pettee Memorial Library assistant librarian Jennifer Razee said she recently attended a seminar for rural librarians where at least one panel was about biases and stigma. 
“The basis of the workshop was the understanding that as humans, we all have biases,” she said.
