Village business plan competition finalists ready for decision


Three proposals have been chosen as finalists in the Make it on Main Street competition: a bakery, a fitness facility, and a coffee roaster.

WILMINGTON - The three finalists for Wilmington’s Make it on Main Street competition have been announced. They are Hannah Cofiell’s Beurremont Bakery; Paul Croutworst’s 802 Fitness and Therapy; and Haystack Coffee Collaborative, a coffee sourcing, roasting, and wholesale venture from Chrystal Holt, Justin Will, and Dagmawi Iyasu. The finalists will now face off in a public event on October 18, where judges will question them about their business plans, deliberate, and announce a winner, who will receive a $20,000 cash prize.
