Planned reopening of businesses makes for “exciting time” in village

WILMINGTON - The Vermont House and The Maple Leaf Tavern are both slated to be back open for foliage season, thanks to new management at The Vermont House and new ownership at The Maple Leaf Tavern. And the long-abandoned old Wilmington Home Center building has also been purchased, and plans for renovation are underway.
Shelley and Paul Lockyear, owners of The Nutmeg, will be managing The Vermont House for its owner, Lorista Holdings.
