It's go time!
The recent run of cold weather, with lows in the single digits, allowed local ski areas to pump out snow in anticipation of the winter season. Mount Snow opened its lifts on Wednesday, with six trails open for skiers and riders. Snowmaking continues and more trails are expected to open soon, according to resort officials.
