Startup businesses turning to social media to get the word out

WILMINGTON - It’s no secret that social media is also used as a tool for businesses. A restaurant may share its daily specials on Facebook; a boutique may share new goods on Instagram. Some local entrepreneurs, though, are using social media as a way to have a brick and mortar presence without having what we traditionally think of as a brick and mortar business.
