Bust out those ugly sweaters, have fun
DOVER- Looking to work off a few extra calories after those holiday meals? Got some less-than-flattering knits shoved into the back of the closet? Then the Ugly Sweater Fun Run may be the perfect way to help clean out the closet and stay fit and trim while helping out a good cause.
The Ugly Sweater Fun Run is the idea of Maggie Lewis, director of the Gathering Place.
“It’s a nice way for the community to come together for something to do on a winter’s morning,” said Lewis. “It’s also a way to get to people into the facility to see it and meet the staff.”
