All day, all night ski-a-thon returns to Stratton Mountain

STRATTON- The 24 Hours of Stratton is on Saturday and Sunday, March 16 and 17, and is a chance to ride under lit trails, fireworks, and until sunrise.
This year it’s about more than skiing around the clock.  It’s about earning points and working together as a team during this magical weekend full of activity and opportunity.  Participants can ride any trails during the day.  In fact, riding different lifts on the mountain earns points for the participant’s team.  There will be a downhill 24-hour race as well as an uphill skinning or snowshoe opportunity to mid-mountain or to the summit.
Gondola hours will be extended past 4 pm, for 24-hour athletes only, and then riders can jump on American Express to ride lighted trails Suntanner, Yodeler, Lower Standard, and Betwixt to their heart’s content.
Points will also be awarded for the ski boot-snow boot race, snowman making contest, and Grizzly’s team trivia, along with prizes, awards, and an hourly raffle giveaway.
Interested participants can sign up for nothing and agree to reach the fundraising minimum by Friday, March 15, at  midnight.
