WILLIAMSTOWN, MA- The Clark Art Institute’s “Looking and Lunching” program will be held Thursday, March 21, at 12 pm, with curatorial intern Nora Rosengarten, who invites participants to a special viewing of Albrecht Dürer’s “Apocalypse” cycle in the Manton Study Center for Works on Paper.
These 15 woodcuts, first published in 1498, chronicle the end of the world as foretold in the “Book of Revelation,” and are teeming with monsters, angels, devils, and saints. The talk is free with gallery admission, however attendance is limited to the first 20 visitors. For more information visit www.clarkart.edu.
