Museum holds free open house
MARLBORO- Join the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum for an afternoon of backyard wildlife. The museum’s annual open house is free to the public on Saturday, February 15, from 1 pm until closing.
This year will feature opportunities to learn about the wild critters who call local backyards and woodlots home. Live animals, Vermont Department of Fish and Wildlife biologists, a tracking walk, wildlife photography, storytelling, kids activities, and more will provide something for all ages. There will be snacks available with proceeds benefiting the food fund for the museum’s live education animals.
Finish off the day with a bonfire behind the Vermont Distillers building, starting at 4:30 pm.
