BRATTLEBORO - The Atlantic Ocean is an environment that fascinates both artist Jessica Straus, whose exhibit “Stemming the Tide” recently opened at the Brattleboro Museum & Art Center (BMAC), and conservation ecologist Brendan Reid of Rutgers University. On Sunday, July 21, at 2 pm, the two very different practitioners come together at BMAC to discuss their work and how art and science can intersect in unexpected ways. BMAC Curator Emerita Mara Williams will moderate the discussion, which is free and open to all.
