Art and craft festival

BENNINGTON- On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, August 3, 4, and 5, 125 artists, artisans, and specialty food producers will showcase their creations under spacious Camelot tents at the Southern Vermont Art and Craft Festival happening at Camelot Village, 66 Colgate Heights.  
Along with craft shopping, the ambiance is festive with live music, craft demos, children’s activities, and a varied food court serving a menu to please any palate and also featuring Vermont craft beers.  
On Friday, August 3, the Bennington Downtown Alliance presents First Fridays, where most downtown businesses will be open until 8 pm, and there will be music, theater, and cinema events along Main Street including an art gallery walk, and live entertainment at certain downtown locations.
On Saturday, August 4, the Homebrew Festival takes place at The Four Corners North with a free shuttle running to the craft show at Camelot Village. Saturday is also Healing Arts day with presentations of yoga, mindfulness, acupuncture, and massage at the festival.
The Southern Vermont Art and Craft Festival runs from 10 am to 5 pm on Friday and Saturday, and 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday.
There is a special price of $5 for adult admission on Friday, and $8 on Saturday and Sunday. Admission for children and parking are free. No pets are allowed. For more information visit www.craftproducers.com.
