Plowing the way to work

To the Editor,

This past week I placed a call after hours to the Wilmington Town Garage. I left a message asking if the plow crew could ensure that the road I lived on was clear of drifts before I headed to work at 5:30 am. Sometimes the winds cause the middle of Aldrich Road to look like a new blizzard has passed through!

This letter is to publicly thank all the people who helped me get to work. To whomever listened to my message, relayed my need, the plower who likely changed a route to ensure the road was cleared, and anyone else I may not know in the chain of command.

Thank you for consistently doing such a great job maintaining our roads.

Katherine Konner
