Let Vermont beauty in

To the Editor,

I feel blessed. I had the flu for 10 days, staying at home all that time. I was content. It was cold, it snowed. Almost every window in my old house was a different art gallery at the Louvre. Nature’s paintbrush had produced some of its finest work. It was Vermont at its best.

Staying inside seemed to make me appreciate the outside even more.I thought, it’s really not about that big house on the hill, the off-road vehicle or the hot toddies, its about an area in our country so resilient that whatever takes place in our daily life, the way we think, the way we feel, our finances, our politics... just look out your window... how breathtaking Vermont is.

Open your door and let the beauty in. I did and I feel blessed.
