DEERFIELD VALLEY- Light it up this year. The Southern Vermont Deerfield Valley Chamber of Commerce is excited to be involved in the “Villages of Bright Lights” celebration. The chamber is encouraging all individuals and businesses on Route 100, Route 9, and adjacent streets to light up their buildings with holiday lighting from Thanksgiving Day, November 26, through January 29. Participating in the event shows support for the valley.

Businesses that have an event planned for the holiday season will find this an excellent source of free advertising. Events or special sales will be listed on the chamber of commerce website.

List a decorated home or business as a participant of Bright Lights. The address will appear on a map published on the chamber’s website, Facebook page, and in The Deerfield Valley News “Gifts of the Season” insert.

To be added to the Bright Lights map submit information by November 10. For more information call the chamber at (802) 464-8092.
