WILMINGTON– Patricia L. (Boron) Zach, 86, died Monday, November 6, in Southern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington. She was born in Deerfield, MA, on August 25, 1931, the daughter of Stanley and Louise (Wojnarowicz) Boron.

Mrs. Zach was educated in Deerfield, MA, schools and graduated from Deerfield High School and attended nurses training school in Springfield, MA. She was a home health aide for senior citizens.

Mrs. Zach was married to John W. Zach on June 17, 1951, at Holy Name of Jesus Church in South Deerfield by the Rev. Joseph Allen. In their early married life, they lived in the Northampton area, later moving to Endicott and Mahopac, NY. In their retirement years, they resided in Wilmington, near Mount Snow.

Mrs. Zach was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Church in South Deerfield growing up and she was very active at St. Mary’s in the Mountains Episcopal Church.

She is survived by her husband John W. Zach, of Wilmington; her son Richard and his wife Linda, of Gilford, NH; her daughter Cynthia (Cindi) Zach, of Norfolk, MA; her sister Helen C. Cady, of Greenfield, MA; and three grandchildren, Kerry, Dean, and Cora. She was predeceased by four brothers, John, Stanley Jr., Raymond, and Frederick F. Boron; and four sisters, Mary Haigh, Victoria Jaroway, Evelyn Anton, and Bertha Reiss.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 10, at 10 am, from the Wrisley Funeral Home in South Deerfield, MA, followed by a Requiem Mass at 11 am at Holy Name of Jesus Church in South Deerfield, MA.

Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery in South Deerfield, MA. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday evening from 4 to 7.
