BRATTLEBORO- The Latchis Theater presents Gounod’s “Romeo et Juliette” tramsmitting live from The Met on Saturday, January 21, at 1 pm.

Hailed by The New York Times for singing “with white-hot sensuality and impassioned lyricis,” Dian Damrau and Vittorio star as the tragic lovers in Shakespeare’s classic story. This new production of Gounod’s “Romeo et Juliette” director Bartlett Sher also features Virginie Verres as Stephano, Elliot t Madore as Mercutio, and Mikhal Petrenkp as Frer Laurent.

The show is 176 minutes with an intermission. General admission is $22, club members admission is $20, and the cost for students is $10.
