Free movie night

JACKSONVILLE- On Saturday, February 8, at 3 pm, the Whitingham Free Public Library will be showing “Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2,” rated PG. This movie begins where the first left off.

There will be free popcorn and treats and beverages will be served. Children 5 years old and younger need to be supervised by an adult.

Tween/teen movie afternoon

JACKSONVILLE- On Wednesday, February 12, the Whitingham Free Public Library is offering a free movie afternoon for tweens and teens beginning at 12:30 pm. The library will be showing “Ender’s Game,” a 2013 American science fiction action thriller film based on the novel of the same name by Orson Scott Card. The library will open at 11:30 am for students attending the movie.

Students may bring a lunch and have use of the library facilities until the movie begins at 12:30 pm.

There will be free popcorn, beverages, and treats during the movie. Please make arrangements for transportation to the library; pickup is at 3 pm.
