DOVER- The 19th annual tribute to summer and its finest elixir – beer is here! The Mount Snow Brewers Festival has become famous for its great beer, great music, fun crowds, and good times. With more than 30 different breweries pouring their newest concoctions from a total of almost 90 taps along with an inspired barbecue, live music, and a great vibe, the Mount Snow Brewers Festival has become a Labor Day weekend tradition for thousands of hard working folks that just aren’t satisfied with spending the long weekend in their backyard. The Brewers Festival is widely regarded as Mount Snow’s signature event and attracts beer enthusiasts from all over the Northeast.

New this year is the 1900’ VIP Pub which includes two-day admission to the festival and, on Saturday, access to the climate-controlled 1900’ Burger where guests will find an array of exclusive beers not on tap in the festival grounds, a buffet, seating, swag, and more. Only 100 tickets are being sold for $125 each.

Quality live music will be on stage throughout the event starting on Saturday with a performance by Brewers Festival favorite Jeff Tuohy Band rocking out upbeat covers and groovy originals that keep the crowd dancing. Sunday will feature Beantown Project, which is a band known for keeping dance floors full throughout New England.

The inaugural Mount Snow Brewers Festival occurred in 1994 and was coordinated by current Mount Snow General Manager Kelly Pawlak, in response to the growing interest in microbreweries that were popping up all over New England. The event has grown considerably since but still maintains the same small festival feel it had then and the focus on beer, music, food and good people hasn’t changed a bit.

Tickets for Mount Snow Brewers Festival when purchased in advance online are $25 for one day, $35 for two days for ages 21-plus and $12 for one day, $20 for two days for anyone under 21 and designated drivers. Day-of admission is $35 for one day, $45 for two days for ages 21-plus, and $15 for one day, $25 for two days for anyone under 21 and designated drivers. Admission for the 21-plus crowd includes a commemorative glass and two beer tokens; beer tokens are $2 each for an 8 oz. pour. Hours are Saturday, August 31, and Sunday, September 1, noon to 6 pm, and the festival takes place in the Main Base Area of Mount Snow.
