GUILFORD- Come swing for free at our Free Fly Day on Sunday, June 16. Try out the flying trapeze and swing through the air with the greatest of ease, with safety lines and a net. Between 1 and 3 pm, anyone who wants to see what flying feels like can come join New England Center for Circus Arts skilled coaches.

Watch or try it out -- all levels of experience are welcome. The New England Center for Circus Arts offers many ways for students of all ages and all abilities to experience circus fun. For kids, there are summer camps and classes; for adults, there are summer workshops and classes; and for all ages there is the high flying trapeze with net and safety lines. Or just come and watch a circus show.

Based in Brattleboro, NECCA offers a variety of activities that include low wire, low trapeze, aerial fabric, juggling, hula hooping, tumbling, and flying trapeze. All classes are taught by expert instructors who focus on proper technique, plus strengthening and stretching to prevent injury while learning. Circus is a creative way to stay in shape as it is fun and fitness combined.

Registration is required for all classes. Some run as part of a general summer session and others allow drop-ins. There is a free flying trapeze day on Sunday, June 16, from 1 to 3 pm Private lessons and birthday parties are also available.
