On Saturday, May 11, at 11 am, Assistant Director Michael Clough will lead a one-to-two-hour walk around the Hogback Mountain Conservation Area in Marlboro. Participants will look for frog eggs and tadpoles, porcupine sign, and tracks in the mud, seeking out any signs of spring. Kids activities and family fun will offer plenty of chances to stop and smell the spring beauties. Admission is free. Contact the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum for more information or visit www.vermontmuseum.org. The program will meet at the Alpenglo building at the Hogback Mountain overlook on Route 9 in West Marlboro.
