To the Editor,

I’d like to take this occasion to discuss an important facet of the future planning and implementation for the town of Wilmington. Namely, support for Becky Paige Morris’ candidacy for the selectboard three-year-term position.

If we are to move forward with not just rebuilding our town, but also having a town plan which addresses and includes short term, medium term, and long term fiscal and strategic attainable goals, we need a truly proactive approach. I have known Becky for many moons and have seen her structure a plan, execute the steps necessary to achieve the goal, and integrate the process into the bigger picture overall plan. She possesses a profound sense of dedication to purpose, and it is this drive to work systematically, methodically, and undaunted that she has applied to projects and programs and has met with unerring successes.

Becky is someone who will add a great dimension to the selectboard, and in turn to the future of the town of Wilmington. She is a “doer,” and has robust energy which she dedicates to tasks at hand, with a big picture overview.

I feel strongly that she will be a wonderful representative who will be focused on bringing Wilmington into its next successful decades as a town.
