Local artist Ann Coleman will be opening the doors starting on Saturday, February 2, on the main floor below Roseate Creations Frame Shop.
This will be a collective space showcasing the work of six local, high profile artists of southern Vermont. West Brattleboro will be well represented by: atmospheric landscape oil painter Petria Mitchell; fine furniture woodworker Jason Breen; abstract painter Jim Giddings, with oil stick on paper; and ceramist Matt Tell with his functional clay vessels in colorful earth tones.
Also in the lineup will be silversmith Lori Rich, of Halifax, with fine art jewelry and pastelist Coleman, of Whitingham, with her prints and originals of local scenes.
There will be an artists opening celebration on Saturday, February 16, from 4 to 7 pm, that all are welcome to attend and come fall in love with art.
