To the Editor:

The First Baptist Church of Readsboro celebrated our 50th annual Harvest Festival the weekend of September 29 and 30. The event was a huge success.

We would like to thank the following businesses for their donations to our silent auction. It has been a difficult year for so many in the Deerfield Valley and yet they still were generous and supportive.

Thanks to (in no particular order) Family Dollar, Hogback Giftshop, Catamount Carpet Cleaning, Green’s Service, Skip Reed, Doug Oakes, Jacksonville General Store, Sonny’s Cup & Saucer, Old Red Mill, The Anchor, Readsboro Inn, Briggs Automotive, WW Building Supply, Shaw’s, and Rite Aid.

Nicole Thayer,

Silent auctioneer
