WHITINGHAM- Clyde A. Reed, 68, died Tuesday, October 2, at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington.

Mr. Reed was born in Springfield, MA, on April 27, 1944, the son of the late John and Marion (LeBeouf) Reed. He was raised and received his education in Springfield and moved to his Burrington Hill home 30 years ago. He learned the art of carpentry from his father and spent his life doing what he loved. He leaves his wife, Annmary Block-Reed of Whitingham; his sons, Scott Reed (Aimee), of Jacksonville, and Steven Reed (Larue), of Westfield, MA; his stepson, Travis Block (Chris), of Jacksonville; and his grandchildren, Keegan, Hayden, and Kylie Reed and Hannah.
