To the Editor:

The Dover Day Committee’s plans are in full swing for this year’s Dover Day. This family-friendly, community event will take place on Saturday, September 29, at the Dover School, from 10 am to 2 pm. Music, food, including straddle bugs and maple syrup, a bouncy house, live bird presentations, artists, crafters, and a Civil War living history are just a few of the fun-filled activities that are in the works. Come join in the “Growing Up Dover” celebration, share some memories, rekindle friendships, and honor the town’s rich history.

The committee is especially seeking artists and crafters who are residents or business owners in Dover who would like to participate in showing their work. Details and applications are available on our town website at www.doververmont.com/events/dover-day. We look forward to seeing you there.
