PUTNEY — Twilight Music presents newgrass and contemporary folk trio The Stockwell Brothers on Friday, September 3, in the seventh concert of the eighth annual Twilight on the Tavern Lawn series. This final concert of the music series begins at 6:30 pm in downtown Putney on the Putney Tavern lawn (bring a lawn chair or blanket) or at The United Church of Putney (15 Kimball Hill) in case of rain.

After almost four decades working together in southern Vermont, The Stockwell Brothers are the area’s senior bluegrass ambassadors and a Green Mountain institution.

The Stockwells have performed throughout the United States and in Canada and Europe, and have released two albums, Stobro and Leave My Dreams Alone, as a trio.
