BRATTLEBORO- The One and Only Brattleboro presents “Let’s Swing” with Boston’s swingin’ best—the Beantown Swing Orchestra—featuring American Idol finalist John Stevens live at the Latchis Theater on Saturday, September 4, at 7:30 pm. The concert is the kickoff to a month-long festival of the arts and culture, with the full array of events and special promotions included under the “One and Only” marketing umbrella. Proceeds go to support the Brattleboro area chamber’s campaign for the Pliny Park mural and its “Skills for Success” scholarship, as well as Brattleboro Arts Initiative’s campaign to replace the seats in the Latchis Theater’s main hall auditorium.

The Beantown Swing Orchestra represents swing music as it really was during its heyday: exciting, and performed by hip young musicians.

Headliner and American Idol finalist, 23-year-old John Stevens, will impress with his vocal renditions of classic Sinatra, Tony Bennett, and Harry Connick Jr.

Tickets are available at the Brattleboro Area Chamber of Commerce and at the Latchis Hotel front desk. Prices vary and both cash and checks made payable to BACC are accepted.
