MONTPELIER- Three hundred twenty-one Vermont high school students are being honored for completing studies at the Governor’s Institutes of Vermont this summer. These students were referred by their high schools based on academic achievement, potential, and desire to learn more about skills and related careers in a chosen area of interest. Living on college campuses, the students successfully completed advanced-level studies taught by experts in the field and made friends with students with similar interests from throughout Vermont.

The following students completed studies: Emily Misnick, of Newfane, in the arts program. Misnick attends Leland & Gray High School. Jess Crozier, of Townshend, in the engineering program. Crozier attends Leland & Gray High School. Suzanna Edwards, of Townshend, in the arts program. Edwards attends Leland & Gray High School. Ursula Casey, of West Dover, in the science and technology program. Casey attends Brattleboro Union High School. Cassidy Anderson, of West Wardsboro, in the mathematics program. Anderson attends Leland & Gray High School.
