PUTNEY- Twilight Music presents the hard driving, house rocking, in your face blues of the Chris Kleeman Band on Friday, July 23. The Chris Kleeman Band has been described as “Vermont’s best -kept blues secret.” From Kleeman’s first record, produced by B.B. King, and his 2002 appearance with King at the Montreux Jazz Festival, Kleeman has kept the blues alive and well. While blues-based, his trio also incorporates influences from many genres.
All concerts begin at 6:30 pm in Putney on the Putney Tavern lawn or at The United Church of Putney, 15 Kimball Hill, in case of rain. The concerts are free to the public. For information, visit www.twilightmusic.org or (802) 387-5772.
