The performance schedule includes the versatile repertoire of the Peter Duchin Quartet featuring Roberta Fabiano (July 30), a shift to the authentic sound of America’s classic country music presented by Hankerin’ 4 Hank: The Music of Hank Williams Sr. (August 6), the blend of standards and nostalgia offered by the talented Broadway star Lucie Arnaz (August 14), the inventive sounds of the Vermont-based jam-band quartet Twiddle (August 20); and the R&B magic of the Platters (October 9).

The Southern Vermont Arts Center (www.svac.org) is a non-profit educational institution whose mission is to make the visual and performing arts an integral part of the life of the community and region. SVAC is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm, and on Sunday from 11 to 5 pm; there is free admission on Sunday (closed Monday). Galleries are open prior to all performances, and guests can dine on local-grown fare at the new and fabulous Café Mamie, which is open for lunch and for Sunday brunch, and for dinner before performances.
