He was the beloved husband of Margaret Madaline Hunt; beloved father of Frank Duffy Hunt and Jennifer LoCascio; grandfather of Michael LoCascio; loving brother to David (Marina), Mary (Dominic), Roger (Debbie), Thomas (Steven), Robert, and Anne Doherty (Bob). He is survived by several nieces and nephews, and was predeceased by David and Edythe Hunt.
Mr. Hunt was an avid lover of baseball and the New York Yankees. He fulfilled his dream of “owning a little piece of Vermont” by building his own home. His door was always open to all and his love of life was contagious.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Windham County Humane Society. Calling hours were held on Sunday, May 16, at Covey and Allen Funeral Home 44 East Main Street, Wilmington. A Mass of Christian burial followed. A Mass at St. Anastasia’s Church, Teaneck, NJ, will he celebrated at a later date.
