Family grateful for the overwhelming support

To the Editor:

On April 2, 2009, our son Christopher was diagnosed with leukemia. Since that time we have been making weekly sometimes biweekly trips to Dartmouth for his treatments. A fundraiser was held in his honor organized by his aunt Regina Werner at the West Dover Inn. The owners and employees of the West Dover Inn did an awesome job.

Chris had a great time and the amount of people who showed up to support him was astonishing. The donations received will be put toward the years of treatment he has ahead of him.

He continues to do great and he constantly amazes us with his positive attitude. We would like to thank all of our family, friends, co-workers, and acquaintances for the support we have received. The cards, phone calls, generosity, and incredible kindness have been overwhelming. We are lucky to live in this small, caring community.
