To the Editor,

Whitingham and Jacksonville Green Up Day was a great success! Thank you to all the volunteers who came out to green up and clean up our town and roads. Thank you to the Jacksonville General Store for donating fresh, hot donuts, the Whitingham Store for donating lunch, and the Whitingham/ Jacksonville Lions Club whose members Hunter Betit and Doug and Mary Lou LaPlante helped to grill us a delicious lunch. Stan Janovsky and the Whitingham road crew really deserve thanks for picking up all those green bags!

Thanks to all who came out to help, you help to keep this town a wonderful place!
